José Auriemo Neto is the well-known brazilian chairman and executive officer of JHSF Participacoes SA. JHSF is a real estate company that mainly centers on residential and commercial properties in Brazil. The company also provides it’s service to hotels, airports, office buildings, and public developments. Auriemo Neto leads the company’s shopping and retail portfolio as well which includes the Cidade Jardim shopping complex in Säo Paulo, the Bela Vista in Salvador, the Metrô Tucuruvi, and the Ponta Negra. Auriemo Neto administered the company’s transition into expanding into retail by signing partnership agreements with Jimmy Choo, Hermes, and Pucci in 2009. In that same year he opened the company’s first retail outlets which was the Cidade Jardim shopping complex. A few years later in 2012, JHSF signed a partnership with Valentino which led to introducing Brazil to the first Valentino and R.E.D. Valentino retail stores.
JHSF was founded in 1972 under the name JHS. The company was developed by the two brothers Fábio Auriemo and José Roberto Auriemo as well as two additional partners. JHS split into two companies in 1990, Fábio took control of JHSF while Roberto led JHSJ. In 1993 José Auriemo Neto first began his journey with JHSF and in 1998 he was given the ability to unfold the company’s first shopping location which was the Shopping Santa Cruz. In the year 2014 José Auriemo Neto became chairman and the board of directors of JHSF. To this day JHSF has a market value of about $1.20 billion and has developed over 6 million square meters of real estate.
