End Citizens United is a Political Action Committee that was founded in 2015 and relies entirely on grassroots donors for its funding. The end goal of the group is to take Big Money out of politics, as they feel the bigger check you are able to write, the bigger say you have and fix what they call a rigged political system. End Citizens United’s name refers to the Supreme Court decision of 2010 called Citizen United. Citizen United allowed corporate and union donations to go to the candidate election campaign of their choice. End Citizens United cannot accept donations totaling over $5,000 from any one individual donor. Despite this maximum donation cap, the fundraising efforts of the group in 2016 helped put it in the top of Democrat-aligned groups that were spending in the elections.

End Citizens United has already earned a huge sum of $4 million in just three months and hopes to raise over $30 million by the 2018 Congress elections. They have over 100,000 contributors, with around 40,000 people donating for the first time. Recently, End Citizens United raised over $500,000 for the first-time political candidate from Georgia Democrat Jon Ossoff. Jon Ossoff is looking to fill the seat vacated by Tom Price, the Health and Human Services Secretary.

End Citizens United announced that its members have collectively funded and contributed around $200,000 in small donations for politician Rob Quist’s campaign. Rob Quist is currently running for a Congressional seat in Montana. He is off to a running start, raising over $500,000 in just a few days to close the gap in the polls. End Citizens United was one of the first groups to happily endorse Rob Quist and his bid for a Congressional seat. End Citizens United has over 14,000 members in Montana alone, with over 300,000 small donation donors in its network. They are dedicated to connecting Rob Quist with these donors.
